Kieran Quarrington and Tom Alvis (U18) were given “University survival kits” (pot noodles featured heavily!) to thank them for dedicating their time and enthusiasm to the U13 this season. These boys, and some of their U18 team mates have been fantastic in helping train the boys and get them to great fitness levels (not always fully appreciated by the children!)
Dan Mason kindly offered to take over the U13 Head Coach position and has been fantastic in turning up every Wednesday and Sunday for the team, but the U18 boys have assisted heavily with the coaching and Tom and Kieran in particular have turned up to almost every session to ensure they passed on their skills and determination to the younger players – and always with a smile.
We are hoping other mens, ladies and development teams will help train and inspire our youth and mini players and continue to develop these youngsters through the club and into our first team in years to come.
If you think you can help train a younger group – even for one session, please contact the Head Coaches or Managers who I am sure will be delighted to have your expertise and experience to promote our “home grown players”.
