Strength and Conditioning Course


Aylesford Bulls is delighted to hosting yet anotherExcelsior Strength and Conditioning course with James Marshall.

If you are over 16 years of age and wish to develop your knowledge and skills in the area of coaching strength and conditioning for sport, then the Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Course is for you.

This course is ideal for P.E. Teachers, Personal Trainers, Physiotherapists, Fitness Instructors or Sports Coaches.

James Marshall has been helping people achieve their fitness goals for more than 25 years. He helped recreational athletes prior to working with professional rugby teams such as Exeter Chiefs who have just reached the 2017 Premiership Final after beating Saracens. James also works with the England Rugby squad who are currently preparing for their tour to Argentina.

England Rugby sent Dave Silvester, one of their fitness coaches, to see how James helps athletes move better and prepare for sport. Dave will then use these ideas to help the tight-five forwards. This was a follow up from the video James was asked to make last year for a similar reason.

If you have an idea about what you would like to achieve in your sport, James will be happy to help you on your way, no matter what level you are currently playing at.

Strength and Conditioning Coaching is a term imported from the USA which means helping athletes get ready for their sport.

James has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist since 2003 and has been Accredited with the UKSCA since 2007. Before that, he just got people fit!

James uses his own extensive experience alongside evidence based practice to ensure that every athlete improves.
